Planning to grow cucamelons for cutting and eating. They are super cute and intrigued to try the flavour.

Another beautiful ornamental vegetable I just discovered this past fall at a farmers’ market – Pumpkin-on-a-stick, ornamental eggplant (Solanum integrifolium). Adorable bright orange pumpkin-appearing cuties along a dark stem. I had to bring some home just for their fascination value. Even as they dried and shriveled they maintained their shiny orange color. I’ve saved the seeds and will be growing them this year, hopefully.
